left has left the left

Malini Shreedharan CPI-M says the Left's defeat in West
Bengal's municipal elections was 'a serious matter' but added the
result only reflects urban sentiment. Left is always rite!! they
never say it from heart that they are getting out off wes bengal
slowly, But it may not be so easy and not so early.

what good have they done to india ? they supported china through out and again the ideology is not favorable to india , i m all for worker's rights but not in the way they r doing ! today inspite of kerala and bengal having a good number of educted people do u see what has happeend to them? not many industries ..half of the time it is a call for a bandh and so much violence .

You have the point, Raj but we can't say they haven't contributed to the Indian people and polity. And the industry in Bengal may not be routed out by the CPIM. In Punjab we don't have industry and also there aren't any communist governments. These are the policies which are the reason.

And if the workers' rights were granted honestly and in right proportion, there wont be need of communists or any workers' union

communists hv gulf wide difference in their words n actions except looking into their self n party interests. The gheraos retrenchments layoff are the direct outcome of their regime in wb....in 1968-onwards.They hv one good point......... they admit their mistakes after a decade under the caption ''it was a historical mistake''

thats the sad story of indian politics. no singel party admits the true reasons for their defeat in any election. no single voter remembers the false promises their leaders make in any election!!

On the contrary! People get emotional and forget that we can not wish away things, people and parties without providing better alternatives.

Over a period of time, left has distanced itself from common man not only by adopting wrong policies but also by way of opposing popular programs, approved by common man. The left has paid a heavy price by not only loosing in urban areas in recent elections but also Panchayat elections in 2008. The only way for left to come out of this is to 1) ... See morethrow out Prakash Karat & co. 2) to change its stand in context of its rigidity about various doctrines 3) to distance itself from the influence of foreign nations and 4) to wait and gain political mileage from mistakes committed by its rivals

Malini:: 1 thing we must know that it is only party which ruled 30 years in W.Bengal. It fulfills its promises to common man unlike any other parties.
